thanks. that's always been a goal of mine, and i tried a cheap logitech version to connect my computer to my stereo over wi-fi, but it was full of glitches and basically not functional. logitech no longer had support for it, so it now just sits on my desk. i'm gonna look into the apple airport. i also liked your discussion on canon dslr and lenses.
