HD Video has Landed at Phanfare
But even still, I am 10 times as addicted to my facebook status updates (coming from just over 400 friends) than I am my Twitter account (I have over 2250 followers @writing_prompts).
Maybe I am a little overboard, but my brothers and I started a facebook app that turns your facebook status updates into t-shirts. We just thought some facebook status updates are so funny they should be on a t-shirt. The app is called Status King. I think we are on to something, it is growing quite well.
We try to keep the number of tweets to about a half-dozen per day so we don't pollute their streams - and we get compliments daily on what our followers are calling "our service".
I agree that as Twitter evolves, the concept of "status" at Twitter vs Facebook is diverging rapidly. IMO this divergence reflects the fundamental difference in the two platforms; At it's core Facebook is about placemarking the details of one's life - Twitter on the other hand is more about the real-time consumption and discussion of information & ideas.
The stream is a dream :)
